Professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba has arrived Nigeria for the Delta State University, Abraka 30th Anniversary Lecture scheduled to hold Friday, 29th April, 2022.
It would be recalled that Professor Lumumba DELSU 30th Anniversary Lecture was earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, 28th April, 2022, could not hold because of his (Lumumba’s) inability to arrive Nigeria as scheduled due to flight problems.
The DELSU 30TH Anniversary Lecture christened “Whither Education In Africa?”, will be u der the distinguished chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Andy Ogochukwu Egwunyenga. The venue of the lecture is the 1000 Capacity Lecture Theatre.
However, there was excite in the University Town of Abraka on hearing g the news of the arrival of the Pan Africanist and the mascot of modern Africa.
Some whi spoke to our correspondent in the University Town of Africa, said they were happy to hear the news of the arrival of the fearless Professor who has not hidden his mind on the poor leadership in Africa.
Other programmes lined up for Friday 29th April, 2022, includes (a) Alumni Novelty Football Match (9.00am), (b) Carnival beginning at site II to site III convocation arena, (c)Alumni Engagement (4.00pm to 6.00pm) (d)Vc’s Award and Commendation Day (4.00pm to 6.00pm)
