Children’s Day: Archbishop Iboyi calls for protection of the Girl Child

As the nation celebrates the 2021 Children’s day accros the country, the Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Promise Kingdom Ministry Inc. Worldwide a.k.a Overflow Chapel, Archbishop Godday Iboyi has joined other well meaning Nigerians to officially felicitate with the Nigeria Children on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Children’s day anniversary.

In a press release made available to Journalists on Thursday May 27th, 2021, Archbishop Godday Iboyi, said that our children are blessed of the Lord and as such, led a special prayer for all children all over the world.

The Okpe born cleagy while calling on the Government, NGOs, religious organizations, private individuals to be actively involved in the fight against child abuse, human trafficking, rape, and other social vices capable of dehumanizing the child, also made an appeal towards the protection of the Girl Child who are always victims of rape and other inhuman treatment.

Archbishop Iboyi used the occasion to call on every parent to make their children’s education a priority, adding an educated society will engender unprecedented development and security of our future.

The man of God noted that education is a prerequisite in any society and as such, advised parents to give their children and wards quality education, maintaining that Children as leaders of tomorrow need to be adequately equipped with the foundation that would guarantee quality leadership.
