The immediate past Attorney General of Delta State, Dr. Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor, SAN, has called on Deltans to reflect deeply on the virtues of love, tolerance, godliness, honesty, fairness, selflessness and peaceful co-existence which our Lord Saviour espoused during his earthly mission.
Mrakpor SAN, in a goodwill message to celebrate Delta at 30 through his Media Assistant, Comrade Akpovoke Otiti, urged Deltans to offer special prayers for peace, unity and development of the State.
He emphasised on the need for residents of the state to shun hatred, divisiveness and promote national unity as they remain virtues towards the actualization of a great state and nation at large.
He noted that Delta State has made remarkable progress at 30, adding that all the people need now was to pray for Gov. Okowa to finish strong.
Mrakpor also advised Deltans to pray for the military and other security agencies that are being kiddnapped and murdered on daily basis to overcome the terrorism and violent extremism as well as prayers for victims and displaced persons in the insurgency-ravaged North East.
He further urged religious leaders to pray for the Delta especially the Nation and its leaders continuously as the prevailing situation in the country calls for wise counsel and divine intervention to over the country’s numerous challenges.
