A renowned human right activist of Delta State decent, Comrade Israel Joe has been elected as the Executive Deputy National President (Southern Nigeria) of the African Youth Community in Nigeria.
Israel Joe, one of the conveners of the famous ENDSARs protest in Delta State, has been in the Vanguard of human rights protection, campaign against rape and an advocate of good governance.
He was elected into office with 112 votes after his opponent stepped down paving way for him to emerge the National Deputy President Southern Nigeria of the Africa Youths Community.
The election was held at the prestigious Jabi Recreational Park, Abuja.
The human right activist said,”Wherever Nigeria goes, Africa goes.”
While noting that the task ahead is enormous, Joe said the Africa Youth Community will surely chat a greater course for the entire African continent.
He commended the entire African Youth Community for finding him and others worthy to serve.
