The governor of Delta State,Dr Ifeanyi A. Okowa has nominated Mr Charles Aniagwu for a place in his newly constituted cabinate.
Among many other eminently qualified persons also nominated in a list sent to the State Assembly and read by the Speaker, Honorable Sheriff Oborevwori.
Dr. Barry Gbe, Hon. Julius Egbedi, Mr. Ifeanyi Egwuyenga, Chief Arthur Akpowowo
Chief Festus Ochonogor and Mrs. Flora Alanta.
Others are Mr. Churchill Amagada, Engineer Jonathan Ukodhiko, Honourable Evelyn Oboro, Engineer Noel Omordon, Chief Fidelis Tilije, Mrs Rose Esenwu, Engineer Lawrence Ejiofor, Princess Shola Ogbemi-Daibo,
Mr. Chris Onogba, Barrister Kate Oniawan and Mr. Johnbull Edema
Mr Aniagwu, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Okowa between 2015 and 2019, and immediate past Commissioner for Information, is making a deserved comeback after the dissolution that took place last month in Asaba.
A man well grounded in the business of information management and dissemination, it is expected that the State House of Asssembly will not hesitate in confirming the veteran’s normination.
With this choice by Sen. Okowa, the people of Delta and the world at large will further be able to access the giant strides which this administration has never shield away from since it’s inception.
The Mandate is however optimistic that the gentle man of the pen profession will further make proud, media practitioners across societal shades.
