ICPC Supervises Distribution of Ovie Omo-Agege Constituency Project Items

In line with its constitutional mandate, the Independent Currupt Practices Commission (ICPC), on Thursday,  May 18, 2023, supervised the distribution of Constituency Projects items of the Deputy Senate President Senator Ovie Omo-Agege to beneficiaries at Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.
The items distributed under the watcful eyes of ICPC, were Keke NAPEPs, motorcycles, amongst others. THE MANDATE , reliably gathered that the items had been restrained and bonded in the aftermath of ICPC’s last Constituency & Executive Projects Tracking exercise for non-distribution to beneficiaries as at due time.
A top official of ICPC who led the team on the  supervision of the distribution of the empowerment items explained that, the items will be shared across Delta Central Senatorial District.
He said; “A total of 771 items comprising of assembled 73 tricycles,  assembled 252 motorcycles, unassembled 142 motorcycles, BCDA marked motorcycles- 82 and 222 grinding machines.
“Today, we gave out, 22 motorcycles to 22 and 2, tricycles (Keke Napep) to beneficiaries from Okpe Local Government Council, and same to beneficiaries from Ethiope East Local Government Council, totaling 44 motorcycles and 4 tricycles (Keke Napep). This is what each Local Government will benefit.”
Aboribo Ejiro Emily, one of the beneficiaries of the Motorcycles from Jeddo in Okpe Local Government, said that her joy knows no bounds stating that this will aide her in farming business.
Another beneficiary, Joseph Ituge from Ovu community in Ethiope East Local Government Area, said the gesture by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, was timely as it came at a time when they were in dire need of support.
Okeh Man-United, from Adaje community in Okpe Local Government, who was given Tricycle, said; “No word can be used to express my joy for this gift, but one thing that I am sure of is that DSP Ovie Omo-Agege has truly helped me and that God will bless him abundantly.”
Other beneficiaries, Uyovwiare  Bright from Egbo-Kokori, Deacon Lucky Uwanogho from Igu community both in Ethiope East Local Government Area and Headman Adagbasra from Okwetolor community  in Okpe Local Government, described Sen. Omo-Agege as God sent to Delta Central Senatorial District who has come to redeem the zone from backwardness by bringing the area to the limelight and showing other zones the way to go.
