Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State will on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 handover starter packs to graduating pioneer one hundred and sixty(160) students of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) skills academy.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mrs. Chinenye Ezonfade, Head, Media & Public Affairs Unit, DESOPADEC on behalf of management of the Commission made available to journalists in Warri, she disclosed that the ceremony will take place at PTI Conference Centre, Effurun at 7.30am.
According to the statement, “Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State will grace the occasion as Special Guest of Honour and personally handover starter packs to the graduating students.”
The statement added, “this ceremony is in fulfillment of an integral part of the Commission’s mission of empowering our youths and giving them a meaningful life.”
