By Onoriode Etatsemi.

The Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Delta State, Isaiah Bozimo Esq, has described the late Chief William Riebelle JP, the Erutode of Udu Kingdom, as a thorough breed civil servant who impacted positively on the lives of others while alive.

The Attorney-General was speaking at the burial ceremony of Chief William Riebelle JP, which took place recently at Egini Primary School, Egini, in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The Attorney-General was represented by Mr. Sunday Monye, the Director of Civil Litigations in the Ministry of Justice at the burial.

He described the late retired Permanent Secretary as a man whose demise will be sorely felt by society and that the vacuum left behind by him would be difficult to fill.

The Honourable Attorney-General urged members of the Riebelle family, particularly the wife and children, to take solace in the fact that their husband and father was a gentleman who lived a life worthy of emulation.

He prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

On her part, the widow of the deceased, Chief (Mrs) Patience Omamode Riebelle, who is the Internal Auditor of the Ministry Justice, thanked all staff of the Ministry who not only attended the burial ceremony but also stood by the family in their moment of bereavement.

She prayed that God will also provide support to them in their time of need.

Chief William Riebelle, JP was a retired Permanent Secretary before his death on 13th of February 2022.
