In a bid to come out victorious come 2023 General elections, all the various blocs of the All Pregressive Congress (APC), in Isoko nation have collapsed into one united family, with a clear vision to deliver Mr Vincent Onoyona for House of Representatives, Isoko Federal Constituency and Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, for Delta South Senatorial District.
Hon Benjamin Essien Okiemute made the disclosure to APC faithful in Isoko North and South Local Government Areas, when Hon Joel-Onowakpo campaign team visited both Local Government Executives to consult them on his Senatorial ambit
Hon. Okiemute said it was expedient to make the clarification so as to enable party faithful who may not be aware of recent developments in the party to be carried along for effective participation and mobilization for the party’s assured victory come 2023.
According to Hon Benjamin Essien Okiemute, “The party has accepted Joel-Onowakpo Thomas as it’s concensus candidate for Delta South Senatorial District seat. Every other parts of Delta South Senatorial District has collapsed structures to be one and we have in one unanimous voice to support Joel-Onowakpo Thomas Senatorial ambition.”
While addressing both Local Government executives of the party, Hon Joel-Onowakpo said; “I count it as a rare privilege for me to be called to contest for the Senate position of Delta South Senatorial District. I cannot do it alone. I need your support to win the race. We must work together in one voice to win all elective positions in the state.”
“Today, we don’t have factions in the party. To our Local Government and Ward executives of the party, count it all joy because in your time victory is sure for the party. I urge you all to put in your best efforts in order to give the party victory in all elections come 2023. All APC faithful should campaign for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.”
In a swift response, Isoko South Local Government APC Chairman, Mr Vincent Egbogo, assured Hon Joe-Onowakpo and members of his Campaign Team that, they were ready to Campaign to the nooks and crannies of Isoko nation and Delta State in the forthcoming General elections in order to ensure that APC win all elective positions in Delta State and at the Federal level.
