……….Says Nesiama is Best Candidate

Ahead of the 2023 forthcoming general elections in the Country, the Pere Amakosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, His Royal Majesty. Couple Oromoni Mobeni II, has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Country have failed the citizens, as he urged the people of Delta South Senatorial District to vote for personalities instead of Political Parties.

The Pere Amakosu called on the people especially the Itsekiris to vote for the Delta South Senatorial Candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), Commodore Omatseye Nesiama Rtd.

He said Commodore Nesiama is the best candidate of all the contestants vying for the position as he endorsed his (Nesiama’s) candidature.

The revered monarch spoke when Commodore Nesiama paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Warri. Delta State

He said the people of Delta South are behind developmentally because they voted/supported political parries.

He however, insisted that the best candidate should be allowed to represent the people. “In those days the best wins the election to represent the people.”

According to the Pere Amakosu, “Some years back anytime our national issue comes up we will be happy to watch the television where you see Leo Ogor, where you see Shehu Sani, where you see late Urhobo man who was in the Senate before, Ewherido, he makes you happy and they makes you happy, they makes you look like a human being that there are people representing you. But these days we worship money.”

The Pere Amakosu who was flanked by some members of the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Traditional Council of Chiefs emphasized that Commodore Nesiama is the best candidate to him.

He said Commodore Nesiama who is fondly referred to as the “Commodore of Hope” has served at the Nigerian Navy and has travelled far and wide to train.

He maintained that someone with such trainings should be given the opportunity to exhibit the quality of what he has trained for.

The Pere Amakosu also enjoined Commodore Omatseye Nesiama to go and do his homework political to ensure he coasts to victory at the election.

According to him, a lawmaker had spent twenty years at the red chamber with no bill in sight.

The Pere Amakosu pointed out that the problems within the various political parties are caused by the traditional rulers.

“For those who have turned the State to their home pick candidates say it is a party structure that is the problem.”

Earlier, Commodore Omatseye Nesiama Rtd had presented himself with the NNPP Candidates for Warri South Constituency II and Warri South-West Constituency, Tosan Pirah and Engr. Shola Olue before the King as he sought for his prayers and supports towards their ambitions.

“I believe I am capable of being a bridge builder because of my ancestral upbringing. Am ready to serve.”

Commodore Nesiama promised to initiate and support legislations that will bring about reverence for the traditional institution.

He stressed, “I will not stand by to see it being rubbished. If given the position, it requires a lot of our problems will be solved.”
