…………Expresses Hope of Victory in 2023

A stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Comrade Francis Obule (JP) has said that Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has the leadership quality to govern Delta State and should be voted for in the 2023 governorship election.
Speaking to newsmen at Okuovu 1 in Ozue District of Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State during the visit of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori and his campaign team to ward 11 Okuovu I on ward to ward campaign, Comrade Obule said that from enviable records of achievements, Hon. Oborevwori has performed well as Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, DTHA and has served at various political positions since 1999, stressing that he has the knowledge and capacity to pilot the affairs of Delta State if he becomes governor in 2023.
According to him “He was the first to kick-start the ward to ward campaign in Delta State and also first to win primary election as Speaker to become the governorship candidate of the PDP”
“He has held various political positions, first as National Treasurer of Association of Speakers in Nigeria, also as Deputy Vice Chairman of Speakers Forum among other positions have attested to his credibility and resourcefulness that made him worthy to assume the governorship position”
Comrade Obule recalled that in the early 1970s when the late Orodje of Okpe, Orhoro I was crowned, he went round all the communities in Okpe Kingdom and he was among those who received him at Okuovu I, stressing that today he was among those who received Rt. Hon. Oborevwori to Okuovu I in his ward to ward campaign across Delta State to know the pains and needs of the people.
“Hon. Oborevwori has safeguarded his territory like a lion to avoid invasion of his territory. Hon. Oborevwori and his campaign team were well received at Okuovu I and we believe that the grace of God is upon him which will see him to victory.”
Comrade Obule appealed to all PDP stakeholders to throw their weight behind Chief Oborevwori governorship ambition because this was not the first time we are having a PDP governorship candidate and they were all delivered in victory.
He also appealed to the old Ethiope Local Government Area that was splitted into Ethiope East, Ethiope West, Udu, Uvwie, Okpe and Sapele local government areas to vote enmass for Oborevwori in the 2023 governorship election in Delta State.
“We should not play politics by working against ourselves as we did against former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 which plunged this country into economic doldrums, political upheaval and an unwarranted crisis in Nigeria. We must guide against that and work as a team to retain Delta State as a PDP State” he added.
