
The Chief Operating Officer of Nigeria Women’s Football League, Modupe Shabi, has announced the postponement of the forthcoming Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership Super 6.
Modupe Shabi disclosed this to journalists, stressing that, the title playoff tournament was billed to take place in Asaba, Delta State between May 5 to 12, with six participating clubs — Delta Queens, Rivers Angels, title holders Bayelsa Queens, Confluence Queens, Robo Queens and Edo Queens.
Modupe Shabi, Chief Operating Officer of the NWFL, confirmed the postponement in a statement issued on Tuesday, May 2.
NWFL will communicate further updates on the Super Six in due course.
She said the new date for the Super 6 competition will be decided after the upcoming maiden WAFU-B U20 Women’s Cup in Ghana, holding from May 20 to June 3 in Kumasi.
